At Skyview Capital, Krishna Viswanadham is responsible for identifying, assessing and developing technologies across the firm’s portfolio of companies.
He has more than 25 years of experience in corporate development, venture capital, R&D leadership, product strategy, technology development, international initiatives, innovation and entrepreneurship across the communications, networking and personal computing industries. Prior to joining Skyview, Mr. Viswanadham was VP in the Business Transformation Office and VP of Technology in the office of the CTO at UTStarcom from 2006 to 2011. Mr. Viswanadham has overseen the divestitures of products and business units throughout the Americas region, India and China and led a multi-hundred million-dollar nationwide turnkey broadband deployment project in India. He was a founding team member of Ramp Networks, which was later acquired by Nokia. Earlier in his career, Mr. Viswanadham was Charter Venture Capital’s Technology Fellow from 2001 to 2003 and held the roles of CTO, GM and VP of Business Development at Xalted Networks, Sr. Director of Product Development at Cosine Communications and spent more than seven years at Apple Computer and three years at XEBEC Corporation. He holds five issued patents in personal computers, I/O technologies and networking.
Mr. Viswanadham holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wyoming, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Osmania University, India, and did post-graduate work in electrical engineering at Stanford University.
