Marco Zhu
Director, Mergers & Acquisitions

Mr. Zhu joined Skyview in 2010 and is responsible for M&A due diligence, acquisition analysis, transaction execution, as well as fundraising initiatives in Asian markets.

Mr. Zhu brings over 10 years of experience in various industries in the US and Asia. Most recently, Mr. Zhu led the Corporate Development team at UTStarcom, Inc. and consummated over $500 million of acquisition and divestiture transactions. He also managed $120 million investments in public and private companies in Asia and North America during his tenure at UTStarcom. Prior to that, Mr. Zhu served as an integral part of the strategic planning groups at LVMH Group (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton) and Herbalife International, at both companies he focused on formulating and implementing sales, marketing and operational strategies in the Greater China areas. Earlier in his career, Mr. Zhu was a Project Manager at Siemens Mobile Communications, where he had built extensive relationships with the largest telecommunication operators as well as the local governments in China.

Mr. Zhu has been a CFA charterholder since 2007 and is an active member at the CFA Societies in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Mr. Zhu also holds an M.B.A. from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, and a B.A. in Economics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
