Jonathan Kavian
Controller & Director of Tax

Mr. Jonathan Kavian joined Skyview Capital in 2010 as Controller and Director of Tax. 

Mr. Kavian brings with him a set of unique experiences and expertise from working at some of the top national and international public accounting firms.  He worked at Deloitte Tax LLP where he provided tax consulting and compliance services to publicly and privately held businesses in the Lead Tax Services group.  He also worked in the Transaction Tax group of Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services working on various M&A transactions including Buy and Sell side due diligence and structuring engagements for domestic and international strategic and private equity clients. 

Mr. Kavian also has experience as an auditor performing audit and attest engagements.  His experience spans a diverse set of industries including private equity, hedge funds, financial services, real estate, insurance, manufacturing, retail, and entertainment.  

Mr. Kavian holds a B.S. in Accounting from USC’s Leventhal School of Accounting and is a licensed CPA in the state of California.  In his free time Mr. Kavian volunteers as a tutor at a transitional shelter and at a after school enrichment program for middle school and high school students.
